TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION
1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to reservation of accommodation and activities, excursions, programs and related supplementary services, unless a special agreement has been prepared or the terms and conditions for the related price product indicate otherwise.
2. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION
When making a reservation, you must state your name, home address, phone number, method of payment and time of arrival. The reservation is binding once it has been confirmed orally, in writing, or by other means such as e-mail.
The online booking service sends a booking confirmation in the e-mail address provided by the customer. Should the reservation fail or the booking service otherwise operates incorrectly Ollero Eco Lodge don’t hold the responsibility. The customer must contact Ollero Eco Lodge without a delay in order to correct the situation. In such a case Ollero Eco Lodge can’t guarantee the vacancy of the lodge. Should the lodge not be vacant, the purchase is canceled and the payment returned.
Let´s save nature: You don´t need to print the confirmation letter!
Please note that activities and additional services are available only to customers who have a reservation for accomodation at Ollero Eco Lodge.
3. PAYMENT
Reservations for accommodation and additional services (such as extra cleaning) are charged when making the reservation. In case the reservation has not been paid in advance it must be settled upon arrival at Ollero Eco Lodge. Reservations for activities, excursions, programs and related supplementary services must be settled upon arrival at Ollero Eco Lodge.
We accept the most common credit/debit cards.
4. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Ollero Eco Lodge is available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and it must be vacated by 11 noon on the day of departure.
We prefer arrivals before 9:00 pm but late arrivals are also possible if noted at least one day before arrival.
In order to stay in Ollero Eco Lodge every customer must have a valid ID with them.
5. CANCELLATION, NO SHOWS AND CHANGES
Reservations can be cancelled at the latest 30 days before arrival. In this case you will be charged 50% of the value of your whole reservation. If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before arrival or fail to arrive, the cancellation fee is 100%.
Ollero Eco Lodge has no obligation to accept cancellations without cancellation fees, based on e.g. a medical certificate or other documentary evidence.
If the cancellation is made in accordance with these conditions, the payment will be refunded to the customer. If cancelled later or in case of a no show the full price of the reservation will be charged.
Changes in reservations will be agreed separately. The service fee for changes is 20 €.

6. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
You can book additional services such as extra cleaning for your stay. Only the final cleaning is included in prices.
7. ACTIVITIES
“Activities”, mean activities, excursions, programs and related supplementary services organized by Ollero Eco Lodge or sold by Ollero Eco Lodge but organized by a third party.
Customers take part in activities at their own risk. Customers must inform Ollero Eco Lodge and the activity provider of any possible health issue, which may affect or be affected by the participation in the activity.
The program/service provider may only be held liable for personal or material damages that have occurred in the event of an accident and which were caused by negligence of the program provider him/herself or their employees or sub-contractors or by the provision of faulty and defected equipment.
The program/service provider shall not be liable for any accidental damage or injury not due to negligence or faulty equipment as mentioned above. These may be repayable under the participant’s own travel insurance. A personal travel insurance is always highly recommended for any unexpected situation.
Liability for damage is determined in accordance with general damage liability principles.
8. GIFT CARDS
Gift card can be used for booking accommodation at Ollero Eco Lodge on available dates.
The card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. The gift card can be used only once, and the full value of the card is always applied. It isn’t possible to partially redeem the card. The card cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash or credit, and cannot be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or unused. No extension of the expiry date is possible.
9. CUSTOMER'S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE
As a customer you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your customer or your pet in the buildings or in premises of Ollero Eco Lodge. This applies also to the furniture and other equipment of Ollero Eco Lodge. Ollero Eco Lodge has the right to charge the costs of caused damages from the customer. Our lodge is your home, please treat it with respect!
Liability for damage is determined in accordance with general damage liability principles.
Should the guest notice anything inadequate about Ollero Eco Lodge, the lodge must be informed without a delay.
10. CUSTOMER CONDUCT AT THE LODGE
Smoking is not allowed inside the buildings of the lodge.
Customers are required to show good manners and compliance with Ollero Eco Lodges regulations. If you fail to comply with these rules, you may be requested to leave the lodge immediately. You will be required to pay for your accommodation and any additional services ordered, and you will not be refunded for any payments already made.
Final cleaning is included in prices. However, the customer is responsible for the tidiness of Ollero Eco Lodge and the premises, including the yard, and the removal of all waste once the rental period expires. If the customer has neglected to clean the premises, Ollero Eco Lodge will charge the full cleaning costs. The cleaning fee 75€/h, the traveling expenses 0.87€/km, the travel time is included in the working time.
11. RESPONSIBILITY ON YOUR VALUABLES
Ollero Eco Lodge is not responsible for damage or disappearance of valuables whilst your stay.Please take care of your belongings.
Ollero Eco Lodge is not responsible for any damage to or disappearance of vehicles parked in its premises, or property left inside the vehicle.
12. INSURANCE
We recommend that our customers obtain a travel insurance to cover any contingencies.
13. PETS
Because of allergies, pets are not welcome inside the buildings. Please notice us about your pet when making the reservation.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Ollero Eco Lodge reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to force majeure (the lodge cannot deliver the agreed services due to a factor that affects its operations e.g. strike, fire, water damage, natural disaster, state of war etc.). In such cases the booking fee will be reimbursed to the customer.
15. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The parties will seek to resolve any dispute arising from the agreement through mutual negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the customer may take the matter to the Consumer Dispute Board or the District Court of Lapland. The contract is governed by Finnish law.
